Annual Conference Information 2023

General Information


The second annual meeting of the Upper Midwest Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience will take place on Saturday, October 21st on the campus of University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. The meeting will have research poster sessions, short oral presentations, a keynote speaker, and lunch. This year, the conference will be held in conjunction with Midbrains! a neuroscience conference dedicated to neuroscience education and training opportunities for undergraduate students. Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, September 29th, 2023. 

Click HERE to submit your abstract or registration for the conference. Everyone that plans to attend the conference, presenting or not, MUST register for the conference, but only the first author needs to submit the abstract.  

Registration is FREE for all attendees!!!

Types of Presentations


Poster presentations


Posters should be in landscape orientation and have a maximum of 5 feet wide by 3 feet tall. Posters presentations may also include work in progress research. Posters sessions are scheduled for one hour.


Lightning presentations

Lighting presentations are restricted to 5 minutes and no more than 2 slides.
